Parents please see the attached letter with details about the planned strike action on Thursday 16th November and how it will impact our school. We appreciate this will cause disruption for parents and we have tried to give you as much notice as possible in order to make arrangements for childcare. However the situation continues to change daily. We appreciate how this action impacts on our families but want to take this opporutnity to remind our school community this strike is effecting our whole school most notably our children due to decimated school funding, wholly unreasonable levels of workload and the well-documented failures to adequately meet the needs of our most vulnerable children. Our children deserve better investment in their future. We appreciate your ongoing support in this action to maintain the high quality of education our schools provide for our children and value the work of all members of our school community both Teaching and Non-Teaching in ensuring this commitment to our children is maintained.
