The Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA) at St Columba’s Primary School, Newbuildings, Derry plays a vital role in supporting our school community.

We are fortunate to have a dedicated and enthusiastic group of parents, staff, and friends who work together to enhance school life. The PTFA helps to organise fundraising activities and community events that bring children, parents, and families together. These events create a fun, welcoming environment and help build lasting friendships across our school community.

Funds raised by the PTFA support a wide range of school initiatives, resources, and activities that benefit all pupils.

We regularly share updates about PTFA meetings, events, and opportunities to get involved on this page. We warmly welcome new members—whether you are a parent, guardian, grandparent, or part of the wider family circle. Everyone who shares an interest in supporting the school and enriching the children’s experience is encouraged to take part.
