Outdoor Fun with Literacy and Art 🍂 Autumn 🍂
Primary Three and Four had a lovely time learning outside this week. We looked at different types of Trees in our beautiful St. Columba’s Garden. The sun was shining bright and we gathered some interesting ‘Treasure for our Art Work’. We found and thought of lots of Nouns, Adjectives and Verbs to use in our Writing.
‘Autumn’
Leaf People, tiny, bright,
Fall from trees in golden light.
Red and yellow, brown and green,
The prettiest dancers you’ve ever seen!
They flutter down with a little breeze,
Whispering secrets through the trees.
They land on the ground in a rusting pile,
To sleep and rest for a little while.
So next time you’re outside in the sun,
Look for the Leaf People’s
autumn fun!
