We love to read in our school! This term, we shared our love for reading with each other through 'Buddy Reading'. The older children read to the younger children, sharing their stories, which helped to expand vocabulary, stretch imagination and build confidence.
The children also read individually, every day for 25 minutes, with some not only meeting their reading targets but surpassing them!
As a treat for all their hard work, the children enjoyed some yummy ice-cream from 'Nicky's Ices' and had a relaxed afternoon of fun and games outdoors in our beautiful space.
